Game I is inspired by how biomedical researchers work with animal parts to develop treatments for curing diseases. Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva selects and arranges these specimens into beautiful sculptural forms, adding gilding to ‘elevate’ their internal beauty.
Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva often works with scientists in University and Hospital settings where they are making highly specialised micro components to tackle medical issues.
